Heyy,

Today I will talk to you my language 2 self-assessment, what I learned and all of this.

This semester was harder than the previous one because, the exigence was hard.My responsibility was so much better because I do it on time(sometimes) the homeworks and I don’t stress so much.

One of the challenges that I had on the begginning of semester was my speaking skill and I improve, I talk so much better, I dont get nervous when I talk, I am more positive in that sense. I learned that have mistakes it’s fine. My vocabulary was other challenge and I think I improve because I think in english and when I dont know some words in english, I ask to a classmate or somebody how can I say it.

When I am in front of the class or I have a Speaking test, I get nervous but not at all, in my mind the only thing that I think is: “you can do it” “if you do it wrong, its ok”. It is so sweet because I know that I improve my security while I am in the university and I have this experiences.

BUT one of the challenges that I still have is some things in vocabulary, and speaking. I want to improve more this skills and I know I can.

The Phonetic classes are so harder, but my favorites because It is so interesting and proffessor James is so cute 😉

Also I want to THANK to my friends Valentina and Francisca marin ᡣ𐭩 because,
If I wouldn’t be with them I don’t know what would happen to me, this semester was much better and fun thanks to their company, I love them so much. We came to the conclusion that our personalities are a golden (vale), a blonde cat (panchi) and a black cat (me). ᡣ𐭩

Woman:Who am I speaking to?

Alice:I beg your pardon? Who am I? Who are you, more like it?

Woman:No, I asked you first.

Alice:No, you phoned me. So you must know who I am but I don’t know who you are. You’re calling from Dr Paul Laver’s phone. Have you stolen it?

Woman:If there’s any stealing going on, it’s you who’s doing it.

Alice:What are you talking about?

Woman:Home wrecker, husband stealer!

Alice:Mrs Laver? Lucy?

Woman:So you do know who I am! You truly are a disgusting, shameless witch!

Alice:Wow, there! There’s no need to insult me, what did I even do to you!?

Khalid:Alice? Why are you screaming? Is everything OK?

Woman:What did you do, you dare ask me!? You’ve been seeing my husband!

Alice:I’m fine, Khalid, just give me a minute… Look, lady, as far as I know, you left Paul, and he’s trying to move on, so please don’t bother me.

Khalid:Is that Mrs Laver?Woman:How dare you! Paul and I are married, we have children together!

Alice:You abandoned them! You have no right to calm me a husband stealer!

Khalid:Calm down Alice, she’s not worth it.

Woman:You don’t know what you’re talking about! Stay away from my family!

Paul: So here’s your gin and tonic. Cheers!

Alice: Cheers! Here’s to holidays. I’ve got a few days off next week. I can’t wait for a break from work.

Paul: That’ll be nice. I wish I was as enthusiastic about half-term!

Alice: Have you got any plans?

Paul: Well, I’ve got a few activities planned for both Jake and Ellie but I have to work on Tuesday and Wednesday and I do want to spend some quality time with Jake. I think we need some father-son time alone.

Alice: Well, I could help out there, if you like.

Paul: How so?

Alice: Well, maybe I could mend a few bridges with Ellie and we could have some girly fun at the same time.

Paul: You know what? That sounds like a great idea.

Alice: You think so? I don’t want to cause any more problems.

Paul: Don’t worry about that. I’m sure that with time Ellie will totally adore you.

Alice: You really believe that?

Paul: Of course I do, you truly are a wonderful person.

Alice: You’re the sweetest Paul, I just hope this girly hang out can be fun for Ellie too.

Tim: Thanks for inviting me out for coffee. It’s good to get out of the flat for a bit.

Janet: I hope you’re keeping yourself busy.

Tim: Well, I’m trying to but sometimes it’s a bit difficult to get motivated.

Janet: I know it is Tim but it’s important to keep your spirits up. And I hope I can help on that score.

Tim: Oh Janet, you’re too kind.

Janet: Well, what’s an old gal meant to do? I see you as my special little project. Now, tell me honestly. What is it you want to do with your life? How would you like to earn a living?

Tim: Well, you know Janet, I’ve always seen myself as a bit of a creative person. I’ve thought about writing or maybe doing something in design, but it just feels overwhelming to know where to start.

Janet: That’s a great start, though! Being creative can take you in so many directions. Have you thought about starting small? Maybe working on some projects in your free time?

Tim: I have, but sometimes I just don’t feel confident enough. I’m not sure if I’m any good at it, and I don’t want to fail.

Janet: That’s completely natural, Tim. But you won’t know until you try, right? Plus, everyone starts somewhere.

Helen: I’ve been neglecting my studies and I want to get back on the right track.

Prof Lewis: Well that IS good news. What’s brought on this change of heart?

Helen: Heart’s the right word. Mine is broken and I need to get over it.

Prof Lewis: So you want my help not because you’re interested in your studies but simply as a way to distract you from a failed romance?

Helen: No!

Prof. Lewis: Helen, I know you. You can trust me.

Helen: Well , , the true is that there is a friend of mine who has problems with her boyfriend , and she doesn’t know wether to give him another Chance or break up with him

Prof. Lewis: I see well, does she loves him?

Helen: well, yes I think She loves him .

Prof. Lewis: Does he loves her?

Helen: OMG! yes is he loves me . I have to talk to him, See you. bye!

First you have to purchase a land, after that the architect will design the apartment block. Following that, the builder applies to build the block, then the local authorities grants permission. Initially the process of building starts, the foundations are laid, and the walls are erected, the next stage is the roof to be added.after that we set up the plumbing, the electricity and gas, once decoration finishes the apartments are advertised and finally after some weeks the apartments are sold.

For my Use of English class I have to write a reflection of my performance on my first quiz.

First of all, When I know that we have a quiz, literally I think so much things, like I have to study because I have to improve and get good marks.

BUT I forgot study (agh), I feel so bad for this because my responsibility is so awful.

To be honest, I study like 20 minutes before the quiz, I saw my notes, I study with my friends, I do question and exercising the material. Then when we have to go to quiz, I got nervous besides to got anxious.

THANKS TO THAT I forgot so many things and I don’t feel confident to do the quiz 🙁

When I see the Items to do in the quiz, I think “you can do it” “you know all this” then I started and complete the items, think how is this, how is that, BUT when I see the Item of Transitive and Intrasitive verbs, I forgot all ;(

I tried to remember, I said: “it’s not difficult, you know this“

I still try to remember but I can’t, and I feel sad, my mind is so fragile sometimes when I have to remember important things. I hate it.

When I get out of the class and go to relax, I think “I don’t have a great mark” until I tried to stay positive, but I can’t.

Then when I have the mark, I feel bad, because I see the Items and all of this.

I STILL CONFUSED SOME THINGS BETWEEN THE PRESENT AND PAST, I don’t know why, is weird, because in the moment I don’t see the error but then when I see I stay like:

Always I said: “I study for the next quiz” but occur the same thing. I study but I forgot the things, I go to the quiz and I feel bad.

I want to improve all of this, I want to feel good when I do quizzes and have a great marks.

Is my responsibility, I want to stay positive and I tried but well… one day I do it, I know.
